HRO Today has established the gold standard in human resources research and delivered our much sought-after rankings on HR service providers for nearly two decades.

Now, HRO Today is excited to offer the HR100. The HRO Today HR100 is the rank order and scores of the 100 HR departments that performed best in eight core areas: workplace culture, employee benefits, diversity and inclusion, employee development and talent management, human resources innovation, leadership development, talent acquisition and employer brand. The working assumption behind the list is that high performance in these core categories provides a reasonable proxy for overall HR excellence.

Methodology

To create the ranking, the HRO Today research team collected available public data from a representative list of 40 established benchmarking and ranking programs in the identified categories. This allows researchers to generate a score based equally on the depth and breadth of outside recognition and internal recognition.

To generate the score, researchers examine the number of lists identified a particular company appears on and their relative ranking where appropriate., This information is then aggregated and weighted to create the final score, which produces the ranking.
