Dallas-based Affiliated Computer Services, Inc. (ACS), a provider of business process outsourcing and information technology solutions, has been awarded a multi-year renewal of its HRO contract with Lockheed Martin Corporation. Terms of the accord were not released.
Under the renewed contract, ACS will continue providing comprehensive outsourcing services for all active employees, as well as retired participants under Lockheed Martin’s pension plans and healthcare programs. ACS serves more than 345,000 Lockheed Martin employees and retirees, and its employee service center handles more than 40,000 calls per month and processes more than 60,000 web contacts.
“This renewed agreement with one of the world’s largest employers is a testament to ACS’ position as one of the world’s top providers of HR BPO solutions,” said Ann Vezina, group president of ACS Commercial Solutions. “We take tremendous pride in earning the renewal and extension of a partnership that has helped set the standard in HR outsourcing over the past five years.”
Headquartered in Bethesda, MD, Lockheed Martin employs 135,000 worldwide and is principally engaged in the research, design, development, manufacture, and integration of advanced technology systems, products, and services. The corporation reported 2005 sales of $37.2 billion.
