If you were outraged, you're not alone. Hundreds of your HR peers responded passionately to refute, or in some cases relate to, the article's assertions.

Since writing it, Fast Company Editor Keith Hammonds has more to say on the subject. He's revised some of his opinions and stands behind others — but most importantly, he is actively engaged in helping HR professionals move to the next level of HR leadership.
