SharedXpertise Forums and Adecco RPO Announce Scholarship Program for Recruitment and Staffing Executive Development

SharedXpertise Forums, a division of Crossing Media, LLC (www.crossingmedia.com) has announced that Adecco RPO will be the Education Grant sponsor for the upcoming RPO Summit (www.rposummit.com) to be held December 9-10, 2009 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada.  The program will be administered by SharedXpertise, and will enable a select number of client-side attendees to attend the RPO Summit at no cost.  Educational opportunities at the RPO summit include sessions exclusively limited to RPO buyers and prospective buyers, global RPO, reducing recruitment costs, vendor selection, negotiation, and governance, and recruitment executive leadership development.  These sessions will provide valuable insights into current industry trends and lessons learned from other buyer organizations.

According to Michael Beygelman, Senior Vice President, Adecco North America, “Managing corporate recruitment is becoming increasingly complex.  Corporate HR organizations rely on in-house recruitment, contingency and retained search partners, and RPO firms to deliver quality services to their organizations.  New skills and training are required in order to effectively manage these kinds of business relationships, and Adecco wants to be at the forefront of helping recruitment, staffing, and workforce management departments prepare for their expanded new roles.”

CEO of Crossing Media, Elliot Clark commented, “These scholarships will be particularly valuable for companies that may have limited budget due to economic conditions this year, but the vision of the program is more far reaching.  We look forward to working on establishing parameters for the award of the grants and to promote the educational opportunity of the program.  When Adecco approached us with the idea it was clear their concern grew from the belief that the needs of the executive suite in recruitment and staffing management were changing and they wanted to expand the universe of educational programming available. We were appreciative that they can make this possible at the upcoming RPO Summit.”

Details of the program will be announced soon.  Any HR, Recruiting, or Staffing executive wishing to apply for a grant may contact Jennifer Ilko (jennifer.ilko@sharedxpertise.org) at SharedXpertise or Mary Grappin (mary.grappin@adeccona.com)
