Korn Ferry (NYSE:KFY), the preeminent global people and organizational advisory firm, today announced that Susan Raffetto has joined the Futurestep business as vice president of Strategic Life Sciences Accounts. She will be responsible for developing and overseeing recruitment process outsourcing (RPO) solutions within this key industry.

Raffetto comes to Futurestep with more than 30 years of experience in corporate talent acquisition strategy. Her primary roles have been in leading the redesign or building of global recruitment functions in the Pharmaceutical, Life Sciences, and Chemical industries. She has extensive experience in process redesign for all levels of sourcing and recruiting, including creating university relations and diversity functions within HR. Raffetto played a major role in the integration of the R&D functions when Pfizer acquired Warner Lambert in 2000 and Pharmacia in 2003, which included the assessment of all existing and acquired employees.
Most recently, Raffetto was at Bruker Corporation where she served as vice president of Global Recruiting and Mobility. Prior to that, for EMD, Merck, a leading global life sciences company, she held several executive positions and led efforts to align the company’s recruitment process in the United States, Asia, Europe and Latin America. Her efforts included leading teams to fill 700 to 1,000 exempt jobs per year and to reduce the time to hire from 100 days to 80 days within just two years.
Raffetto also held global leadership recruiting positions at BP, General Signal and Union Carbide.
