Recognition continues to be an important part of employee engagement, corporate culture, and our global HR association. For the past 10 years, the HRO Today Services and Technology Association awards have been a highlight at our annual HRO Today Forums and an aspiration for those in the HR industry worldwide. This year, we’ve decided to do something different and will be recognizing our North America finalists and winners separate from the HRO Today Forum. Our Association Award Dinner and Gala will be held in conjunction with our first HRO Today Services and Technology Association Summit, a conference and training retreat for HR services and technology providers, analysts, and practitioners working in or with a services partner. This event will take place October 17th and 18th at the Union League in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The Awards Dinner and Gala will be held the evening of October 18th.
Each year, the association selects a theme that the awards criteria revolve around. The theme of this year’s program is The Greatest HR Awards on Earth – Honoring the Best in HR. Winners for North America will be revealed this year at the HRO Today Services and Technology Association Summit and the EMEA and APAC awards winners will be announced, as usual, at their respective regional HRO Today Forum events in Amsterdam and Hong Kong.
The award categories have also been revised for 2018. We will be recognizing two different categories: company and individual. Company awards will include the following categories: Recruitment Team of the Year; Engagement Strategy Excellence; Diversity and Inclusion Excellence; Thought Leadership; Business Partnership Excellence; Innovation in HR Technology; Partnership in Recruiting Excellence; and Learning and Development Excellence. Individual awards include Rising Star; Leadership; and an Executive HR Champion of the Year.
