Six U.S. Federal Government Agencies Renew E-Learning Contracts with GeoLearning

Leading provider of Managed Learning Services expands its dominance within the U.S. federal government.

WEST DES MOINES, IOWA, August 2, 2005 — GeoLearning, Inc., the leading provider of Managed Learning Services and hosted learning technology, expanded its dominance within the U.S. federal government today with the announcement of one-year renewals and/or expansions of contracts with six federal agencies for its GeoMaestro learning management suite:

U.S. Department of Commerce (DOC)
U.S. Department of Health & Human Services (HHS)
U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development (HUD)
U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC)
U.S. General Services Administration (GSA)
Office of Personnel Managements (OPM) USALearning.gov site (including the recent rebranding from GoLearn.gov)

GeoLearning was originally selected by OPM in 2002 to provide its learning management system (LMS) to federal agencies through GoLearn. Since then more than 40 different federal agencies have deployed GeoLearnings GeoMaestro LMS suite, including GoLearns flagship site, USALearning.gov. The companys prime contractor status was also expanded by OPM last month to include learning content management systems (LCMS), off-the shelf training content, collaboration tools and human capital performance applications.

GeoMaestro is an Internet-hosted human capital management and development platform that enables organizations to capture, create, manage and share knowledge to improve workforce productivity, accelerate critical business processes, and drive organizational performance. The system centralizes and automates the entire learning management process, making the administration of enterprise learning and development both effective and efficient. The GeoLearning platform is also compliant with Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act, which requires all federal agencies to implement information technology accessible to persons with disabilities.

GeoLearning also provides federal agencies with Internet hosting, security and maintenance services for their e-training initiatives, as well as 24×7 Help Desk support for all employees and administrators.

We are extremely proud of the retention and growth within our federal client base, said Frank Russell, president and CEO of GeoLearning. Providing learning systems and services for as long and for as many agencies as we do is a wonderful opportunity to showcase GeoLearnings deep understanding of the federal governments human capital and e-training needs. It is a high-profile opportunity we are both honored to be a part of and committed to making successful.
